Over the years lemon has become my favorite flavor to cook with! Anything from desserts to lemon pepper wings! Today I’m sharing an easy 3 ingredient lemon bars that are literally perfect for any occasion!
When I was pregnant with Emma, lemons were MY THING! I ate lemons like they were going out of style! I would slice them like oranges and eat them. I also ate any kind of lemon cake I could get my hands on! Lemonhead candy also stayed in my purse after one of my church members offered me some not knowing my #1 craving was lemons! Once she found out she brought me a whole bag of lemonheads! They definitely helped when I couldn’t get my hands on a fresh lemon to eat!
Honestly the 3 ingredient lemon bar will probably be the easiest thing you will EVER make! And a very cheap recipe that won’t seem cheap when you make it! Personally, if I need to make a quick recipe I prefer a short ingredient list versus a long list and I’m only using a tiny portion of each ingredient!
3 Ingredient Lemon Bars

- 21 oz Can Lemon Pie Filling
- Powdered Sugar
- Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix and filling.
- Pour into a baking pan.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lemon bars have cooked. The center will be gooey, and not completely solid in the middle.
- Remove from oven. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Slice and enjoy!
Since the shut down of the world, there are things that I have been keeping in my pantry in the event we go back to that I don’t have to worry about having ingredients if I need something sweet! My family always craves something sweet on Sunday evening and making a batch of quick 3 ingredient lemon bars always hits the spot!
