Later this month I am headed to So Fab On The Road-Cincinnati. Im SUPER excited because I am pretty new to Social Fabric. I was sent an email to join and I did right away and now I am headed to their On the Road Tour…I cant wait! Social Fabric is a network that pairs bloggers with brands, but the difference in them and other networks is the amount of education the network provides! I mean where were they when I first started blogging, I have taken a couple of their So Fab University Classes…and they are AMAZING!!! Talk about helping you take your blog business to the next level, I have taken classes on Media Kits, Photography, how to create your blog post via So Fab Guidelines…VERY Informative, I have a notebook going for all notes that I have taken in the different classes. The class info can also be printed out so if you need to refer to it later you can!
If you havent heard of the So Fab On The Road Tour…its a conference that features hands-on, interactive sessions for influencers to implement what you’re learning on the spot.
“SoFabU or Social Fabric University provides online influencer education opportunities to members of Social Fabric, Collective Bias’ community of influencers.”
The Main Session is…
Smart Syndication: Grow Your Blog Traffic with Less Effort
Attendees will walk away with a solid understanding of how to pair analytics data (Google, Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook) with common, free publishing tools to grow their audience with data-driven processes. With the tactics provided, you will increase your site traffic without dramatically increasing the amount of time you currently dedicate to social media.
Understand how social visitors are currently finding your site
Use this knowledge to better formulate social posting timing and content strategy
Incorporate free, time-saving automation tools that will help increase site traffic without increasing the time spent on driving this additional traffic
Create a structure for measuring site traffic from social postings, so that you can make future publishing decisions based on solid historical data
I am super excited because this will be my first blogger conference. Since I have a little bit of time I am trying to get everything in order EARLY so I wont be running around later on.
The Afternoon Session:
The INGREDIENTS for a Great Sponsored Post (& Tastespotting-worthy photos!)
In this session Nate Engels will walk through creating a custom recipe around a brand’s product and how he tells a story around the recipe that will draw the reader into the emotional tie to the brand and blog post. From styling the plate, to the props, lighting and background, we’ll learn how to create a visual gourmet image. He’ll show how he takes beautiful photos (even without natural light) and manipulates the images to spotlight the food. We’ll form groups where we will use props and creativity to produce photos on the spot. Then Nate will share how to make so-so photos into WOW! Shareable images through simple techniques and tools like Picmonkey.
So my first item on my list is finding the perfect Blog Conference Tote Bag…
I need to keep my iPad, Computer, Personal Items (Gum, Makeup, Lipgloss, Pens, Ink Pens) Chargers, Camera, Business Cards…you know everything I will need for the full day! I have been wanting a Longchamp bag, but I have also been looking at a couple of other bags…
Do you carry a tote bag, if so what kind do you like?
