Instant Pot Apple Butter

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Apples
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs Cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs Vanilla
  • 1/3 Cup Water

Instructions

  • Core and slice apples.
  • Add apple slices and water to the instant pot.
  • Set the Instant Pot vent to sealing, then press the manual button and adjust the time to 15 minutes at high pressure.
  • When finished, let the pressure release naturally for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, turn the dial to the VENT position and let the remaining steam release.
  • Remove lid.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blend together with a hand mixer or pour into a blender.
  • If your apple butter is “too runny”, place it back into the Instant Pot and press the sauté button & Sauté until it has thickened.
