Do you ever feel like you are in a cooking rut? I do often, so I try to change up my normal routine with new recipes, different spices, and ingredients or find new cooking methods on the internet! Many times I take from the recipe the parts that I like and combine them with my own recipes! Sometimes it’s just a small change that will create a new meal!
My family LOVES chicken! Honestly, we could have it cooked a different way EVERYDAY and not get sick of it! This time around instead of making chicken tenders my normal way of seasoning and cooking on the stove, I decided to bake them with a Mango Chipotle Chicken Marinade with LA MORENA® Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce.
The adults of my family loved the chicken tenders with a kick from LA MORENA® Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
I used LA MORENA® in Adobo Sauce, BBQ Sauce and Mangos to give the chicken tenders a special kick! And I served it alongside some Spanish Rice!
The Marinade was inspired by a recipe on the LA MORENA® site…it was VERY easy to make by only using 4 ingredients!
Once you gather your ingredients…dump them in a Food Processor or in my case I used the Blender on the Puree setting. I used the LA MORENA® Chipotle Peppers in Adobo (7oz), and still had some left over to possibly create another recipe!
Once you mix your ingredients together to the desired consistency, you pour over the chicken and refrigerate for an hour or longer. I personally, like doing this part before going to work and I let it marinate all day long. Once I come home all I have to do is cook it.
Once the chicken is finished, you pair it with a side-dish of your choice and Enjoy!
I am new to using LA MORENA®, however, it has been providing the highest quality products in chiles and peppers made in the style and with the taste of the authentic Mexican home and traditional recipes for over 45 years. LA MORENA® can be found in Giant Eagle in the Ethnic Food aisle.
