Gone on Vacation!

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I will be on vacation June 24-July 5 from my blog! I am going on real vacation, however, I didnt want to have to worry about my blog while Im gone this is the reason I didnt get a guest blogger!

I just want to relax and not think about anything during this time!

 

MAC Bloggers Obsession

Many of you already have heard about the nine-piece MAC Bloggers' Obsession Collection.  The collection premieres online today -- four eyeshadows and five lip glosses designed by specially selected beauty bloggers.

The bloggers were flown to the company's headquarters Toronto where they donned lab coats and used their creativity to formulate their own custom shades. The products, which are available online only, were introduced earlier today.

I read the articles when the collection was first introduced, but I didn't go deep into it.  Today I was reading and I had the chance to look through each of the bloggers sites and their  creations on the InStyle website. InStyle also had a link to check out each blogger, so I went through and looked at all their blogs and even subscribed to a few! I came across Afrobella's site and completely fell in LOVE with "All My Purple Life"

OMG is this color the most AMAZING color EVER!!!! I ordered it IMMEDIATELY!!! Although I wont be able to try it out until I get back from vacation...but you know what I don't care...I will have something to look forward to when I get back! The collection is available from June 21st through August 2nd...hopefully I get a chance to purchase a few more pieces of this collection!

 

National Pink Day

Today is June 1st, I was sitting here looking through my planner and I saw that June 23, 2011 is National Pink Day.  It's National Pink Day, a day where everything should be basking in pink splendor!

It's especially a day for the ladies, as pink is a girl's favorite color. Guys, you can participate in National Pink Day, too. Just get in touch with your feminine side, and display a dash of pink.

 

It's easy to enjoy and to participate in National Pink Day. Bring your pink elephant out of hiding. Wear pink, and show off everything you have that's pink, from clothing and shoes to other possessions. Be creative. Use food coloring to make pink meals. Pink frosting on a cake or cookies will be a big hit today.

Happy Father's Day!

Each year on Father's Day in Church the pastor gives everyone a chance to come up and talk about their father. Being the crybaby that I am, I go up with my sister but I can never get anything out because by that time I am crying! LOL! So this year I decided to send my shoutout to my dad on my blog...

When we were little...

Since my sister and I were little my father has always been our number one supporter, a friend, the first man to take us on a date and show us how we are supposed to be treated, the cheerleader at all our events and organizations we have been involved in, a counselor when we needed one, a sunday school teacher when we had a religious question, a protector and provider, and for simply being there!!  Many of my readers dont know but I am a "Daddy's Girl"...and honestly I cant say enough about him...I am so blessed to have my father in my life!!

So Daddy, I hope you are reading...THANK YOU FOR BEING THE BEST FATHER EVER!!!
