So after looking at this article, I searched through my Picasa Albums and Facebook to see if I had a signature color. I know I have A LOT of Black! But I didnt want to say Black was my signature color...

and I wear a lot of grey and blue as well..

okay, so I guess its safe to say my signature color involves very neutral colors...Black, Grey, and sometimes Blue! I need to get some bright colors in there, I wear bright colors but they cant be considered my signature because I dont wear a lot of them!

As many of you already know...I LOVE Mrs. Obama's style! I noticed a while ago all the cardigan sweaters that she wears, which has inspired me to wear more myself! I love the look of them!!! They work with any outfit, and it doesnt matter if they have a pattern or an embellishment on them...they still work! I also love how they dont have to be matchie-matchie...if you have on a solid color-instead of wearing the same color cardigan, wear a cardigan that matches but gives the outfit a pop of color (cardigan of a different color, or embellished cardigan) everything doesnt have to be one color! And if it happens to be one color, offset the colors (dark dress, light cardigan or vice versa). 

Very Emotional...

I haven't been around to blog in a while! I thought about it but I just didn't have the energy to do it! Since last Wednesday everything has been pretty emotional. We suddenly lost one of our members at my church, and it hit everyone kind of hard.  Although these times bring us closer together, it also makes you wonder why we cant always be like this! The death of this member also puts a lot in perspective, as in stop stressing the small things, and stop complaining because it can all be taken at a moments time! Be THANKFUL for everything and make sure you tell your family, and friends that you LOVE them DAILY!!! Yesterday I was in church, and my mom asked one of the older members how they were doing today, and he responded..."each day I'm alive is a blessing" and that really stuck out to me because we take so much for granted and simply just waking up in the morning is a BLESSING!  

Well I should be back tomorrow with my regular posting!!!

I work at a Jesuit University, and we receive daily devotionals. This particular devotional is from 04/11/2011, it caught my eye because I find that if I am really going through something...sometimes its hard to pray! However, that doesnt stop God from answering your prayers. He knows the desires of your heart, and although you are thinking that you didnt say a long, deep prayer...doesnt mean he didnt hear your prayers!
