Weekend Updates...

So the holiday party that I was telling you all about in this post was this weekend. My outfit turned out really cute, the only thing is I forgot to take some pictures before we left home, then when we got to the party my camera died:(

However, I told Darrick yesterday that I will be putting back on my full outfit and he WILL have to take some pictures of me! In the meantime I will show you what I wore...

I found this sweater at Torrid. I really liked it because it was another color besides black and it had sequins!

I wore black leggings with the outfit...

And the only flat riding boots I have are my Cognac colored ones, so I wore those too. At first I was worried at how the brown would look but I think it changed up a basic outfit!

I must admit I felt really pretty this weekend, earlier in the week I wasn't feeling my best. I talked to a couple of friends about feeling ugly and of course they gave me encouragement but I still just didn't feel good about myself. However, after getting my hair done, and getting a manicure I felt 100% better about myself...and that has really carried over into this week as well:)

At the party I got a chance to DANCE, and it felt GREAT!!! Now before I was pregnant I would go out every once in a while, but I told Darrick a few weeks ago that I just wanted to get out and dance and have a good time and that's exactly what I did this weekend! I surprised myself with the amount of energy that I had...I paid for it on Sunday but it was so worth it! LOL!

On Sunday Morning, I took family pictures with Darrick's family! They turned out really nice! We still have to divide all the pictures up, however, I was able to sneak a couple away of Darrick and I...

its a little blurry because I had to take a picture of a picture with my camera... but I promise I will show the rest of them soon! I'm so glad we got a chance to take pictures with the baby bump because I wanted pictures it just wasn't a top priority for paying for them at the moment (so this worked out GREAT)!!!
