Makeup Review

I know I said this before but since Darrick works for L'Oreal I am very partial to trying their family of products because I feel that I am doing my part to keep them in business LOL...at least that's what I tell him when he is fussing about me buying makeup!

Although I do wear the competitors line (MAC) I tend to buy most of my other products from L'Oreal. I also like trying out the new products and telling Darrick what I think of them...not that he really cares about the make-up because he makes hair products but I just feel like I'm giving him a customer review on it...he probably wishes he didn't have to sit and listen to me talk about makeup!

Anyways, I tend to try the new makeup products because that's just something I like to do! LOL! Because I am in no way compensated for my reviews.  I usually wear Maybelline Mascara because I like the Falsies Line...but I don't do Maybelline eyeshadow because it makes my eyes itch!   A few days ago I saw a commercial for the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. Usually I only wear powder foundation, but I watched a YouTube makeup tutorial and the girl in the tutorial used liquid foundation and I liked the look and have been wanting to try some ever since! 

While in Target with my sister I decided to buy some...and she said she would try it too (she usually follows me in makeup choices... although she was the one who really introduced me to makeup) we both liked it!  It has coverage but not too much to make you look like a clay face (sole reason for never trying liquid...seen too many instances where people ended up looking crazy).  I tried it on myself and on my mom (we usually wear the exact same color makeup) she liked it too.  So in addition to my MAC I will be adding this to my makeup collection! I still have to go over my face with my powder foundation to get the shine under control (VERY oily skin)...but I still am a fan!

This is a picture of my sister and I...we both were wearing Maybelline Fit Me Foundation at the time! Now we both are a little shiny but that was over the course of the night!! Now I always shine (no matter what), I use primer but it only works for so long...like I said earlier I have an EXTREME case of oily skin (if anyone knows a remedy for this...please let me know)!
