Interesting...Eyemobile Eyeshadow

News flash:
"The iPhone craze has officially reached its zenith. This month, Kohl's department stores launched the Color Institute Eyemobile Eyeshadow Compact, a palette designed to resemble the face of an iPhone. With over twenty eye shadow shades to choose from, this $15 kit is a major steal -- and a super-cheap alternative to splurging on the new iPhone 4G!"

I'm going Natural!

So I am going to embark on something new...and that is going natural! My hair has been breaking off for some time now, and I thought it was because I was wearing a ponytail but I always wear ponytails and have never had any issues with my hair breaking off. I only get a relaxer every couple of months and I figured that it would be pretty easy to transition out of putting chemicals in my hair.

Since I started my journey of having natural hair I have done LOTS of research on different products and different hair regimens. I have learned the different terms of having healthy natural hair, and how to transition into natural hair without doing the BIG CHOP (when you cut off all the relaxed hair and only have natural hair). I have always had shoulder length hair with the exception of a few times of cutting it only to grow it right back, so I think I should do a transition into this instead of cutting all my hair off.

Last week I tried my first braid out. I braided my hair while it was wet and rolled the ends, then I let it dry overnight and this is the outcome...

Sorry about the picture quality, these were taken at work with my blackberry. I tried to keep the style overnight but it didn't really work the next day. I'm trying to master this so I wont have to use much heat on my hair while I am transitioning. I also consulted my beautician, she thought it was a good idea...I had originally planned to get my last relaxer for my friends wedding I was in this past weekend but I was talked out of it and told just to get a blow out, here are the results...(turned out pretty well)

Are any of my readers natural? If so, can you give me some tips!
**I think my biggest problem is not going broke by buying all the products that I want to try**

What I have been up to...

My last posting before "Wordless Wednesday" was on 07/23/2010. I have had so much going on and I haven't had time to blog.  Let me start with work...I have been SUPER BUSY at work the past few days, which has caused me to be quite stressed! I have also had a lot of school work to do since I'm in the last few weeks of my second term of graduate school...

this picture describes whats been going on in my head for the past week or so...

Last weekend I was in my friends wedding, on the hottest day of the year.  No really it was very hot, however, she looked beautiful, the ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was awesome! Below are a few of the pictures that I took before the wedding and at the reception...

I have a crazy look on my face...

Darrick was the supportive boyfriend all weekend! I had to really thank him for being with me and through everything this weekend and being a good sport about it. Not to mention...doesn't he look good in this outfit, he coordinated with the wedding colors perfectly!

Sunday, was Men's Day at church and the color was white.  Darrick and I coordinated our outfits for church and it turned out really nice together and the service was really nice as well...

Monday and Tuesday was consumed with paper writing...

Torrid's Denim Lounge

I saw these pictures on Torrid's Facebook Page and I HAD to post it! Take a look at the pictures below...I LOVE LOVE LOVE the flared style jeans. Flaired jeans look the best on me for my shape and height, I love bootcut but sometimes they dont accent me well!

 Which ones do you like?
