My Weekend Adventure in Akron, OH...

Saturday was a pretty good day! I started off by going to a wedding at my church. It was very nice...it was two of the members and it was really nice! After the wedding it was cold and rainy but Darrick insisted instead of staying in and watching movies lets go somewhere. Since he used to live in Akron he knows a lot of the mom and pop restaurants around the city. He has been talking about this place Primo's for a while but I never really paid it any attention. While riding I told him before we go walk around the mall (that's where we decided to go) I needed to eat because I was running out of energy. So he said he was going to stop at Primo's, which was fine with me, I'm not a very picky eater I will find something where ever we decided to stop...
When we got in Primo's I didn't really know what to think, the place looked like a beverage store with tables and chairs. Darrick said that is what it used to be...LOL! Below is a picture of the wall in the restaurant, it had every beer you could think of! In the back there was a cooler and people walked up picked the beer they wanted and sat down and drunk it (of course you would pay for what your beer but you would pick it and sit back down). I'm not a beer drinker but I was amazed at the set up, I looked over and saw this table full of children and they had beer bottles, then I guess Darrick saw me looking at them and he said its ROOT BEER LOL!!!! I was sitting there thinking what is going on here!
I'm not a beer drinker, so I had the Old Fashion Orange Crush Pop!

The sandwiches were HUGE! And not very pretty but they tasted really good (but I know they weren't very healthy)!!! Darrick had a Corn Beef and Roast Beef sandwich...

and I had the grilled Bologna and Hard Salami Sandwich

As you can see the sandwiches were huge!!! I barely ate half of the sandwich, good thing we went to the mall to walk around afterwards because we were STUFFED!!!
