In an article by Megan Barkley a Shine Blogger on Yahoo, one of her latest post is called "Thank God-Buns are Back." I read the title of the article and I knew I needed to read the full article immediately. Ever since I have been doing my own hair (I think I started between the ages of 9-12...not really sure) I've had a long lasting relationship with ponytails and buns! If you really know me you know that I will put my hair up in a minute! Sometimes I do a bun, sometimes its a hanging ponytail! My ponytail is my go to hair style, if my hair isn't doing right I result to a ponytail.
In the article Barkley states "I am SO excited that BUNS are back in style. One because it's a ridiculous-kind of hot outside. Two because it's easy. And three, it's just cute! No longer will I have to wake up early to straighten, curl or wave my hair.
No longer will I have to spend 25 minutes putting rollers in my hair in the evenings just so I won't have to wake up early.
No longer, ladies, will I have to harm my hair my spraying, molding or cramping harsh chemicals into my do!
Nope! Just flip your hair down, pull it all up to the top of your head, wrap around your finger and tie down. Pin up anything that might fall down around the back. And BAM! Good to go for work."
Is this not the best article EVER!!! An article telling me to put my hair in a ponytail/bun because its in style right now! LOL! I love it!!!

I love love buns but I've had relatively short hair for as long as I can remember so it's not technically a bun rather than a little hairball sitting randomly on various parts of my head!
I do the curls; when it's hot I just wet my hair, mousse it up and then voila! I have a curly little fro.
mmk so you said that title caught your eyes, your article caught mine! I also heard that on Rachael Ray (her daytime talk show). They were showing you could do a bun in 5 minutes or less! It was great! I did it the next 4 days after I saw that episode :)

Ladies, anyone can tell you Im all about putting my hair in a bun/ponytail when it isnt acting right! I have a bun as we speak!!! LOL!! Sometimes you throw on a little makeup with it and you have a very chic look!!!
i think it is funny that they said buns are in cause i was clueless about them being out! i never stopped wearing buns...lol the only time i don't wear buns is when my hair is cut short
