Darrick "The Boyfriend"

Okay so I know I'm late...but on Sunday, August 23, 2009, I took the time to sit and watch a full episode of Drop Dead Diva. I loved the concept when I first watched the previews before the show premiered, however, after watching on Sunday I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the show. I guess I will now have to add this to my line up of TV shows that I watch regularly.
Guess What:
Lifetime has ordered 13 new episodes of the freshman series, which stars break-out actress Brooke Elliott and popular comedienne Margaret Cho, for 2010.
Drop Dead Diva, tells the story of a shallow, aspiring model who dies in a sudden accident, only to find her soul resurfacing in the body of a brilliant, thoughtful and plus-size attorney (Elliott), premiered on July 12, 2009, and was Lifetime’s highest rated original drama series debut since the 2007 launch of Army Wives.
I am totally a fan now...if you haven't checked this show out...you are missing out!!!
So people from the plus size community are in rage at the billboard that was posted in Jacksonville, Florida by the PETA Organization. Many feel that this is a slap in the face to those plus size individuals that are PETA supporters. PETA is an organization that prides itself on being brash and in your face, and ready to make a point to promote your values. You've gone to the extreme to promote animal cruelty, vegetarianism, and the fur trade amongst other issues.

Vancouver, WA, August 10, 2009 — SKORCH Magazine, the popular, fashion-forward digital magazine for plus-size women that launched in 2007, has announced it will be going into print as a bi-monthly magazine. The first printed issue will be available December 1, 2009.
