Interesting....

As I was watching the evening news, I changed the channel between FOX and NBC to see if they were covering the same stories. On both channels, they were covering the Superbowl events, which eventually led into both networks covering a story on Jessica Simpson, the singer and girlfriend of the Dallas Cowboys Quarterback, Tony Romo. Fox headlined their story with the title, "Jessica Simpson Shocks Fans With Noticeably Fuller Figure." Below are some recent pictures of Jessica Simpson from a concert in Florida on January 25....

I was totally outraged as I continued to listen to this story. Check out this quote from Fox News (www.foxnews.com):

"Is Jess preggers? Did she gain sympathy weight for sis Ashlee (who just had a baby with hubby Pete Wetnz)? Is it all a ploy to get her on the cover of a magazine? Or is it, more likely, that the star has been eating the same diet that her Dallas Cowboys quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo does?"

I was amazed to see how shallow society and the media have become when it comes to outward appearances. In the pictures above you can tell Jessica Simpson has gained a few pounds, however, she doesn't look like the "beach whale" that the media is making this out to be. I don't think this is one of her most flattering outfits, however, I think she is a cute girl....and SO WHAT SHE HAS PUT ON A FEW POUNDS!!!!! IS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO MAKE IT HEADLINE NEWS???

I was so glad as I continued to read the article that Jessica Simpson had this to say about her curves:

"Curves are better, I don’t get the whole rail thing. It’s not good for your heart, it’s not good for your mind; it’s emotionally destructive, it really is."

If she is happy with the way she is, everyone else should be happy also!!!

Cute and Cold
